One of JT's funnest qualities is his ability to talk. He said his first words at 8 months old ("dut" meaning duck was his first word.) At 2 years and 4 months JT still amazes us daily with extensive vocabulary.
The other day, JT was playing with a toy octopus and asked me, "what is this?" I told him it was an octopus. Pointing to one of arms he said, "no Mommy, what is THIS?" so I said, "Oh, that is the octopus's arm." He said, "No Mommy, it's a... (thinking intently) a tentacle." That's right and he even pronounced it correctly.
Anyway, when JT was about 13 or 14 months old, JT expressed to me that he wanted a brother. He would say "brother?" whenever he would see two young boys together. "My brother?" he would ask. "Do you want a brother?" I would respond. A very adamant "Yes." was his answer. I didn't think he really knew what he was talking about because JT loves the spotlight on him and a baby would certainly distract for that.
I just played it off until the day came when I knew JT was about to get his innocent wish. Now I worried for JT and the new baby. Would my go, go, go of a kid have his world flipped upside down with a new baby? And even more pressing was the safety of the new guy because of JT's aggressive nature? As you can see from previous blogs, my worries have changed. JT loves his brother. It feels like JT knew his brother and knew he was coming the whole time. And he probably did. The bond between them is something I can only explain as "eternal". They truly love each other even at their very young ages not to mention they look almost identical.

Oh, I was so hungry to see how Andrew has grown and changed. He looks so cute with angel gold hair. He is a handsome boy. I am so happy that they love each other. Yes, it is friendship made in heaven!
The Top is JT and the bottom is Andrew. Although I have to say I can hardly recognize Andrew as Andrew, he is so big! I think his chubby cheeks give him away! JT and Andrew make a cute couple:)!

I am so sorry that I have not commented on your page. It is so cute and I am glad to get the up date. Do I see "red?" hair peeking out on the top of that Baby's head. We miss you all and send our love.
